# 29 Taco Dog

This adorable dog brought me so much joy for numerous reasons. At first glance, I mistook his cleverly crafted clothes for a regular outfit, only to discover it was a delightful taco costume. Being a poodle owner myself, I know how challenging it can be to dress up a pet without them becoming restless. However, this pup was quite content standing next to Mi Cocina in his appropriately themed attire. One of the things I love most about Texas is the delectable Mexican cuisine, and Monkey Bar above Mi Cocina is undoubtedly one of my favorite spots. Furthermore, this dog’s striking eyes captured my attention and heart. Whenever I encounter a furry friend, I always play a game with my friends where we guess their name. Though my suggestions are typically unimaginative, such as “Fluffy” or “Oreo,” seeing this pup in his taco costume inspired me to name him Taco. However, if I had to pick an alternative, I would opt for Sandy. Games like this are fun because they surprisingly say a lot about how your friends think and it is interesting to see who gets creative with it. It reminds me of this game we used to play in the car when I was growing up to pass time. You would get points every time you would pass cows and then you would loose all of the points when you pass a grave yard. This game may only work in small rural towns, but I always feel connected to people I meet from different places that know about the game.
