#28 Painting

I saw this woman painting on campus during one of my walks and I thought it was so wholesome. I felt bad intruding on her, but I had to get closer after this pic was taken to see her work and it was actually really good. I find it so intriguing how some people are naturally good at making realistic art with their hands because when I try to do it I can’t make anything look recognizable. It stresses me out because I try so hard, but I can’t get the art to match what I want it to look like in my mind. I feel like people who have the natural talent to do so, like my roommate, don’t understand how people without it struggle so hard. I am taking a painting may term and I am excited because my friend took it and said that you get to spend a lot of time out of the classroom. This sounds appealing to me because I get so bored and anxious sitting in the same classroom for 6 hours. I also think it will be good for me because I love interactive learning. It is so much more rewarding for me when I learn something and make something out of it that is physically tangible.
